A vCard is a file format standard for electronic business cards that are often attached to email messages and may contain name and address information, phone numbers, email addresses etc.

How to import the vCard

To import a vCard into Tally, simply go to the Customer tab>Import vCard tab. You will then be asked to browse for the file you want to import, you can do this by pressing Choose File. This file should initially have been saved on your computer and once you have located it, select Upload. You will then be shown a preview of what data has been imported and how it will be mapped in the account, feel free to make any amendments.To complete the process, hit Import.  This is an easier way of importing customer contact details rather than manually entering them in.
